Supporting Cancer Patients Nutritionally
This postgraduate-level course provides an educational framework for understanding how nutrition may be considered within the wider context of individuals experiencing cancer. It does not offer diagnosis, treatment, or therapeutic protocols.
The course explores key principles, including the internal terrain, energy availability, digestion, hydration, and systemic balance, and how these may influence physiological function over time. Emphasis is placed on interpreting patterns, variability, and context rather than isolated inputs.
Participants will develop critical thinking, reflective practice, and an understanding of professional boundaries, including UK legal and ethical considerations.
This course is for educational purposes only and does not replace medical advice. Individuals should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional for any health concerns.
